📣 Introducing Rachel

🏃‍♀️ What got you into running?

“I started running in 2014 while dealing with intense back pain, and somehow it was the only activity that didn’t make it worse. Even after surgery, I’d already fallen in love with the sport. I set a goal to run 1,000 miles in a year and ended up blogging my entire 2015 running journey.”

🥤 Favorite post-run treat?

“After every 15+ mile long run during marathon training, I craved a fountain Diet Dr. Pepper — and it had to be fountain. No bottles or cans.”

🏃‍♀️ Favorite type of run?

“Road running. I love slipping into a steady rhythm without worrying about roots or rocks — it’s such an easy way to unwind. That said, I should push myself onto the trails more often because I always end up having a blast.”

🎯 2026 running goals?

“I’d love to properly train for a half marathon again instead of winging it — maybe even PR. But most importantly, I want to be more consistent with my running.”

✨ Something that might surprise us about you?

“I enjoy woodworking in my free time. There’s something incredibly satisfying about using my hands and tools to create something.”
